We officially go over the half way point in the Burpee Challenge today. For everyone who is still in, it’s now less than 30 days until the end. If you are behind, start adding 10-15 (or more) to your daily burpees and get them done. Missing a day at this point really isn’t an option.
For me, the challenge has been fun. As it turns out, 40 burpees is a great warm up and you can easily fit 60 or 70 burpees into a heavy day WOD pretty easily. The only days that have been difficult are my rest days. For some reason even 5 burpees on a rest day feels like an intrusion.
At last count we still had about 10 people still going. Let me know or post in the comments if you are still “in”. Let us know what has been hard and what has been enjoyable about the Burpee Challenge.
Also, check out the featured post from a fellow affiliate that completed their Burpee Challenge…

I’m still in. If I try to look too far ahead (for example, thinking about that we are only 1/2 way done!!!) I think I won’t make it. But if I just think about what I have to do today, it feels pretty easy. When we started back in September, I remember thinking that I’d feel so discouraged by the time we got to the 60′s, but actually the opposite is true. I feel more encouraged now than ever. Only 30 days to go!

Ok. I teach math so I deal with numbers every day and I love them! However, crossfit has definitely changed the way I view numbers. For example, I can blow 20 minutes watching tv, eating chocolate, reading a book, or staring into space like nothing. Today’s workout killed me. It seemed so innocent on the front end. 1 minute of this, 1 minute of that…no problem. Well, 20 minutes later and MK and I were flat on our back…dying. Gotta love it
